HEALING THE POLITICAL DIVIDE - WHAT WOULD JESUS DO?
Are you troubled about the growing divisiveness in the political arena over the last few years?
The real answer is thinking, loving, and praying more like Jesus.
If Jesus were here today …
In John 14:12, Jesus says, ... He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; ...
As followers of Christ, we are called not just to follow his spirit, but to follow the works he did on earth.

HOW WOULD JESUS HEAL THE DIVIDE?
Guided by Bible expert and teacher, James Early, at 4 pm ET, we will:
Here is what Mary Baker Eddy, the discoverer and founder of Christian Science might say to you:
When will Jesus’ professed followers learn to emulate him in all his ways and to imitate his mighty works?
(Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, Mary Baker Eddy, p. 37:16–17)
Jesus changed the world
He never got involved in the intricacies and intrigues of Roman politics to bring his message of healing and salvation to the people.
Instead, he focused on a different type of government, a spiritual one, which he called the kingdom of heaven.
To Jesus, heaven was not some way-off-in-the-future kingdom we can only be part of when we die.
His public ministry was founded on his bold declaration of the exact opposite, that the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
This awareness of heaven’s here-and-nowness empowered Jesus to heal and restore the lives of those who came to him for help.
As followers of Christ, the only way we can have the same impact on the world is to adopt his way of thinking, loving, and praying, in short, to adopt his mindset.
And that is what we will discuss on Tuesday, May 14 at 4 pm ET.
